Author
Claire Bessant, recognized for her expertise in cat care and behavior, has authored several books related to kittens and cats.
Why did you decide to read this book?
I'm taking care of my cousin's kitten, so I am interested in books that discuss the details of what I should learn about caring for cats.
Were you glad that you decided to read it? Explain.
I enjoy the guidance given as well as the information I have obtained to care for my kitten, including changing its food, portioning the food, and also the cleanliness of its cage.
What did you like best about this book?
In the chapter "Keep Your Kitten Safe," there are several things to be aware of because kittens are very active and like to play, so it's important to pay attention to whether their play environment is safe or not.
What did you like least?
the chapter of "Choosing the Vet," there are many names of viruses and medicines, as well as language that I don't understand due to the abundance of medical and health terminology.
Would you recommend this book to a friend?
This book will be very helpful for those who have new cats or their cats have given birth; it can be given to my friend who wants to take better care of cats.
On ascale of 1-10, how difficult was this book for you? (1 = easy, 10 = difficult) Why?
I will give it a rating of 6 because maintaining the health of pets is our responsibility, so this book is very much needed, especially for monitoring our pets to ensure they are well and happy. this book also contains medical terms, so it's quite difficult for chapters related to vaccination and virus handling. However, it's easy to understand due to its relatively light language in addressing the daily care of the cat.
